Context

No incumbent is on the ballot. Frank White Jr., the 2022 winner, is no longer in office, and Phil LeVota is the interim executive. Lake won the August 4 Democratic primary with about 46% of the vote over five other Democrats; Rohlfing was unopposed in the Republican primary. The 2022 figures are countywide (the Jackson County Election Board and the Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners combined) and are taken from Wikipedia; the shares do not sum to 100% because of write-in votes. No public poll or published rating was found.
